Gulf Breeze is a city located on the Fairpoint Peninsula in Santa Rosa County, Florida and is a suburb of Pensacola, FL, which lies to the north, across Pensacola Bay. The population was 5,665 at the 2000 census. As of 2005, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 6,455.[1]

Gulf Breeze is a unique community that has 18 miles of waterfront, as well as three protected bayous residents enjoy all sorts of waterfront activities. The city  of Gulf Breeze boasts one of the best boat ramps in the area in close proximity to the Pensacola pass. There are 105 acres of undeveloped park property along the water for a leisurely walk in the woods. 

The Northwest Florida Zoo is located east of the city of Gulf Breeze and has over 900 animals on thirty acres in a botanical garden setting. Contains general information, events, map, photographs

The Naval Live Oaks Reservation was the home of America!s first experimental tree farm, established by President John Quincy Adams in 1828. It was established to provide raw material to support shipbuilding for the Navy in the area. Today, Naval Live Oaks is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, a unit of the National Park Service.
